How To Make Cooking Easier | Healthy Life Hacks

Since my holiday i recently got back from i hadn't been allowing myself to worry about food or exercise as much. Tomorrow i am going to get back in the gym and start making little changes to my eating, it's the small changes that make the biggest overall and i'm not gonna be strict on myself but just start to make healthier choices again :-)

I am one to get quite lazy when it comes to prepping and cooking food. Sometimes i do enjoy it but like most of us, when we have some free time we'd rather be doing something else than standing in the kitchen for hours. (unless you really love cooking) The trouble is if you want to be healthy then you do need to put a little bit of effort and time in. Today i'm sharing some things you can do/changes you can make in your kitchen to help speed up the cooking and prepping of food and make your life a whole lot easier.

First thing is freezing your food, you can make a batch of something and portion it into Tupperware, it will last you all week and you can defrost it whenever you want? I made a healthy Soup once and blogged it so see how i prepped and made it all by clicking here.

I actually came across Microwaves (UK) by Panasonic, they have a new range to make cooking healthier. They have options to grill, steam and bake. They help to keep food's delicious flavour, vitamins and nutrients. It also cooks your food in half the time. Winner winner chicken dinner! :-D

Next i saw a 4 blade Spiralizer on Amazon. I don't know why i still don't have one of these, they are not even that pricey. This makes time in the kitchen so much easier and actually makes creating your meals more fun. I love spaghetti and so to make it a bit healthier you can make courgette noodles, so quick and easy if you have one of these.

Another thing is a powdered food called Huel. It has a complete balance of protein, carbs, fats and all the vitamins and minerals that your body needs. It's filling and as it has a balance of everything it's a great quick option to use for meal replacements or these easy delicious pancakes which you can check out here.

Get a good blender! Making smoothies are a quick and easy snack idea or sometimes can be good as a meal replacement if you are in a rush. I've heard that the Nutri Bullet is really which you can see here but if you would recommend any others then leave a comment below :-) 

One last thing i will share is a bread maker, i also saw these on the Panasonic website. I had bought an ex boyfriend one a few years ago and i wish i'd bought myself one really cos they are so good. If you love your bread tho this would be great for you, it's so easy to do and you can use your own ingredients making sure it is as healthy as you like :-) I really need to save up for one cos it does also save a lot of time.
