3 Healthy Breakfast Ideas

Hey :-) Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day! I usually think about what I will have for breakfast the night before and most the time gets me excited to wake up in the morning! Does anyone else plan breakfast or get excited?

1. Egg & Avocado on Toast

This is so nice :-) I was loving just eggs on toast anyway but then I decided to add Avocado and it was just amazing :-) I used Sourdough Batard bread here so a little better than the normal type. I do want to buy some Rye bread soon or make my own as it is a lot healthier.

2. Smoothie in a Bowl

This is a very filling breakfast which I recently started making. I wanted to make a smoothie then had the idea to put it in a bowl as it was quite thick anyway so nice to add with some granola, I made this healthy Granola myself and wrote a blog post on it which you can check out here if you like.

I basically made this smoothie by adding frozen banana, frozen berries, oats, chia seeds, almond milk, spinach and strawberry protein powder. I then topped it with granola and fruit :-)

3. Porridge

This picture I took and uploaded to my Instagram so the quality is not as good. It is quite hard to see this one as I have topped it with so much fruit,lol
I made this porridge with water and a tiny bit of almond milk, in this one I actually added a bit of strawberry protein powder as well! I then topped it with fruit, some raisins, sunflower and pumpkin seeds. Then added even more fruit on the side, I only used one banana and just halved it to each bowl. I of course add a green tea with every breakfast I have. My favourites are lemon or peppermint from the brand Clippers.

I am always looking to find new breakfast meals, I do want to try an Acai breakfast as I have seen it around a lot and I think it would also make a great Instagram picture,ha! Does anyone else get excited to take photo's of there meals, I feel like I'm addicted to it! :-)

  4. Brilliant choices I love all of these and pretty much eat them all the time. I love a good smoothie bowl and acai bowls are something similar that I have every week without fail! :)
